InOutsource was formed in 2002 in response to a recognized need for objective information and records management consulting support in law firms. Firms were struggling with how to implement best practices in the areas of client intake, conflicts due diligence and records management. InOutsource sought to create an organization that could help law firms and corporate legal departments develop a strategy for managing information that leveraged an organization’s existing resources and considered a firm’s overall business and risk management goals.
Although many technology consulting organizations purport to offer independent consulting solutions to their law firm clients, these companies are often part of a large conglomerate that sells software to the legal industry.
