ARTICLE: Law Firm Risk Survey Highlights Staff Retention, Development, and Training Priorities

The 2024 Bressler Risk Blog Compensation Survey collected role and compensation details from 138 participants, including 66 managers. Of those, 53 participated in an optional section collecting feedback across six areas.

The relevant survey question and responses for my review today is: “What are your goals for risk staff recruiting, training, and career development in 2025?”

In this article, I review three key themes I noted, supported by risk manager quotes presented in the report. These quotes indicate firm sizes but do not reveal any other identifying information about the participants. I also share how InOutsource supports law firm efforts to enhance risk training with Nectar, our risk e-learning platform, providing some detail about the specialized risk training content we’ve developed over several years, for those interested in learning more.
