Husch Blackwell Adopts FileTrail for Records Management

Law firm selects FileTrail for its modern functionality, web-based access and low cost of ownership

PHILADELPHIA– June 7, 2016 – InOutsource, a trusted consulting and technology implementation services company, and FileTrail, a leading provider of records management and information management solutions, announce that Husch Blackwell has deployed FileTrail for physical records management.

Husch Blackwell is an industry-focused, full-service law firm with more than 575 attorneys in 16 offices in the United States and London.

“In evaluating records management solutions, it was important to find a product that would meet our needs to lower overhead costs, be easy to roll out, and provide an efficient process for users,” said Bret D. Chapman, Chief Information Officer for Husch Blackwell. “FileTrail has gone beyond our expectations in these areas. Moreover, its innovative features set it apart from other records management software solutions on the market.”

“Today’s law firms have evolved beyond legacy systems that are difficult to configure, short on functionality and time-consuming for IT to maintain,” said Nancy Beauchemin, CRM, founder and president of InOutsource. InOutsource is FileTrail’s only official partner focused on deployments in legal environments. “FileTrail offers a flexible records management solution that easily accommodates the complex needs of a modern law firm and its information governance policies.”

“Am Law 200 firms need to replace their retired, outdated and unsupported expensive desktop-based records management systems. With this replacement cycle, we are seeing that law firms want a solution that lowers costs while delivering higher value. FileTrail does this for them. FileTrail is the only modern solution in the market that is 100 percent pure web-based, has a 15-year record of continuous support and product improvement and includes extensive experience delivering solutions to Am Law 200 firms and Fortune Global 500 companies,” said Darrell Mervau, president of FileTrail.
