We have an opening for an Information Governance and Modern Work Consultant working on Information Governance consulting engagements and implementations of Information Governance software. Understanding our clients’ needs is crucial, and we expect you to have the skillset to balance their vision with best practice use of various technologies used in the legal industry.
Your job is to serve as the lead consultant on a project team, and together with technical consultants and project managers, guide our clients through implementation of IG processes, IG policies and adoption of Microsoft Modern Work technology. By joining our team, you will learn from a group of tenured consultants, who have created methods and template material across hundreds of prior engagements.
Technical Responsibilities:
- M365 Product implementation (Purview and related M365 applications)
- Execute data investigation to interrogate the state of client’s current systems
- Participate in client data mapping sessions
- Review, advise and configure M365 solutions
- Policy and process consulting
- Support of process and policy experts
- Software specific technical knowledge expertise
- Methods of reporting on process/policy changes
- Support in interviews of Firm technical resources
Project responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing vendor-led professional development meetings
- Participate in and contribute to client project and status meetings
- Coordinate efforts with InOutsource project managers and team
- Contribute to setting up Purview and Copilot demo and test environment
- Configure and launch Copilot within InOutsource tenant
- Staying current with Purview product updates
- Contribute to updating repeatable, templated InOutsource project methodologies
- Participate in business development activities to offer input on technical aspects of implementation projects
Minimum Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of Information Governance experience
- 2+ years of Microsoft Purview experience
Assumptions
- Goal of 25-35 billable hours a week
- Primary metric for judging success is the billable hour but secondary metrics that are also considered include but are not limited to:
