The Buzz Newsletter (August 2026)

A Note from Nancy & Eric

We are excited to see many of you next month at ILTACON in Nashville! You can learn more about where our team will be and how to schedule time with us on our event page here.

Our team is proud to have been invited to speak on four conference panels:

  • From Intake to Destruction: Mapping the Modern Data Lifecycle
  • Unifying M365: Hidden Capabilities Transforming Collaboration and Automation
  • Legal Taxonomies and the modern DMS
  • Preparing Today’s Neurodivergent Attorneys

We are also hosting several briefings, on hot topics including AI Adoption and SharePoint as a DMS, which you can read more about below.

As we prepare for ILTACON, we would like to highlight some new and several popular resources and capabilities from InOutsource:

  • Microsoft Purview + Data Security Audits — We will be sharing fresh insight and practical use cases for adopting Purview, protecting firm information, and advancing a governed approach to AI adoption

  • Intake Intelligence — Our new risk performance metrics and dashboard add-on capabilities for Intapp Intake. (Think of it as like BI for your risk operations)

  • New Case Filing Intelligence (NCFI) — Accelerating business development by integrating court filing and other public data streams to enable rapid firm engagement of new and existing litigation clients. Built on Microsoft, NCFI also enhances firm CRM and KM efforts.

  • Intapp Cloud Migration — With on-premises development for key products dormant, and Intapp Celeste creating a compelling cloud catalyst, we are seeing increasing interest from firms looking to advance their cloud journeys.

  • HiveMind Client Care — We also continue to see strong interest from clients on this concierge service offering, which offers on demand support, advisory, and professional services. It is a powerful way to easily tap into our organization’s collective experience and skill.

A New Partnership Unlocks New Opportunities — Welcome Epona!

At ILTACON we are officially announcing a new partnership with Epona. InOutsource is now an Epona reseller, implementation partner, and support provider.

Epona provides solutions that enable firms using Microsoft365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, or File Shares) for document and information management to easily add a “firm-aware” user interface that provides a DMS-like experience, strong governance, and controlled AI integration.

Closing Thoughts

As you plan for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, our (growing) team of technologists, business analysts, attorneys, and project managers stands ready to assist you and your firm in defining and executing projects on time and on budget.
