CLIENT SUCCESS: Crete Professionals Alliance uses Intapp to drive innovation and rapid growth in the highly regulated accounting market

Our team was proud to support Crete Professionals Alliance (Crete PA) implement Intapp Conflicts to centralize the conflicts and independence process that protect Crete PA and its member firms alike.
Said Crete Co-founder Jake Sloane: “When forming Crete PA, it was important that we let firms preserve their individual brands and culture that makes them special — while still letting them tap into the opportunity to be part of a larger national organization. By centralizing back-office functions, including conflicts and independence, we’re creating efficiencies that enable growth while letting professionals focus on the accounting work they’re best at. Partnering with Intapp on conflicts is one of several ways our firms are adapting to fast-evolving technology and benefiting from AI.”
Commented Crete Compliance Director, Brad Knudsen: “Thank you InOutsource for being an integral partner in the launch!”
"BIG" CONSULTING: Another Client Success Spotlight

We were also proud to support a “Big” consulting organization recently adopt Intapp for risk management and compliance.
Said the internal product owner: “InOutsource helped us building a great new platform based on Intapp for our Risk department to manage thousands of case reviews each year. This solution is a huge timesaver for our teams and enables us to handle all those reviews in a modern and centralized way. During the whole project we were absolutely impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the InOutSource team and are looking forward to work with them again in the future.”

ARTICLE: The New Frontier in Legal Compliance: Privacy, Security, and Information Governance
Robinson + Cole Partner Kathryn Rattigan and Director of IG Jim Merrifield write:
“When was the last time your law firm took a hard look at its data management practices? Chances are, not recently enough.
“Today, law firms face unprecedented challenges in privacy, security, and compliance for numerous reason including the increasing sophistication of cyber threats, and advancements in artificial intelligence.”

WHITE PAPER: Changing Roles in Information Governance
From the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium (LFIGS):
“Traditionally, law firm IG was seen as a back-office function, mainly managed by the records management department,
with limited involvement from other departments or senior management. However, this model is no longer adequate nor sustainable.
“Law firms need to align their IG with business objectives, client needs, and regulatory obligations. Law firm IG requires a more collaborative and cross-functional approach and as this model changes, so do the functions and tasks supported by an IG department.”

BLOG: The hidden costs of delayed answers to OCG questions: How slow responses impact your billing and revenue
In today’s legal landscape, outside counsel guidelines (OCGs) have evolved from simple billing instructions into complex compliance documents that significantly impact law firm operations. Although clients provide these guidelines to facilitate the billing process, client terms can slow down billing if your timekeepers do not have the ability to easily find out what terms govern each matter.
This article examines what happens when law firm professionals cannot self-serve answers to their questions about what terms apply to a matter.
